Cost of college went up for all students at Huntington University

Tuition and fees rose 2.4 percent for 2018-19 at Huntington University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Indiana students paid $26,158 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $618 more than the $25,540 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 212 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.7 million and 176 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.1 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,302), 865 students used grants or scholarships totaling $13.2 million, and 614 students took out $4.1 million in federal student loans.
