79% of Grant County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 66,802 citizens living in Grant County in 2021, 79% were old enough to vote, equating to 52,773 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 25,035 were male, constituting 47.4%, and 27,738 were female, making up 52.6%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Grant County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.4%.
