Proclamation Marks International Overdose Awareness Day, National Recovery Month
International Overdose Awareness Day was recognized earlier this week on Wednesday, and September is National Recovery Month. Local recovery providers hosted an overdose awareness vigil Wednesday evening at Hier’s Park after meeting with the Mayor the afternoon before to discuss our community’s recovery efforts during a proclamation ceremony.
