Northpoint Preserve Annexation Completed; Adjacent Property Rezoned
The annexation of a 25.1-acre parcel on Hauenstein Road near the Commercial Road intersection will take effect on October 30. The land, referred to as the Northpoint Preserve, will be zoned R-3 Residential.
City Council received a petition for voluntary annexation on July 26 and subsequently held public hearings in accordance with Indiana law before Tuesday’s final vote on Ordinance 18-C-22. The adjacent 35.1-acre property on the annexed parcel’s east edge also was rezoned from BP Business Park to R-3 Residential under Ordinance 23-C-22.
