Park Dept. Accepting Applicants For Park Caretakers And Watering Crew
Park Caretakers.
Hours are 3:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. – Monday-Friday. There are two shifts on the weekend, day shift 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and evening shift is 3:00 p.m.-11:00. Park Caretakers will get two days off a week. Starting pay will be $12.00/hour. Must have a valid Indiana Driver’s License. Responsibilities include: Special event set-up/take down, ensure parks are clear of litter, clean and sanitize rental facilities, and clean/stock restrooms. Watering Crew
Hours are 9:00 p.m.-5:30 a.m., with the opportunity to work 5 days per week. Starting pay is $13.50/hour. Must have a valid Indiana Driver’s License. The Water crew are required to drive a pick-up which is pulled by a trailer with a water tank. They water the hanging flower baskets and pots throughout the City of Kokomo.
