City of Kokomo recently issued the following announcement.
PARKS DEPARTMENT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR CARETAKER AND SEASONAL POSITIONS
Caretaker
Job responsibilities:
Cleaning/ stocking rest rooms
Clean & sanitize rental facilities
Empty waste receptacles
Special event set-up/ tear down
Ensure parks are clear of litter/ sticks etc.
Hours: evenings & weekends
Park Seasonal
Job responsibilities:
Mow & weed eat
Plant trees/ flowers
Mulch & maintain flower beds
Empty waste receptacles
Set up park amenities
Add protective surfacing to play grounds
Hours: Monday -Friday 7a-3:30p
