Census Bureau: More women than men in Peru in 2019

Of the 11,584 people living in Peru in 2019, 51 percent (5,913) were women and 49 percent (5,671) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Kokomo Standard.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 3,473-to-3,465. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,210 females and 798 males.
