68 percent of applicants to Indiana Wesleyan University-Marion were admitted for fall 2018

At Indiana Wesleyan University-Marion, 97 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 65 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Marion enrolled 3,188 students in fall 2018, including 2,853 in undergraduate and 335 in graduate programs, data shows. 3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

56 percent of undergraduates are residents of Indiana, and 43 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (84 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (4 percent).

The school admitted 68 percent of the 4,733 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 22 percent enrolled.
