Huntington University issued the following announcement on Feb 24.
The Department of Bible and Religion at Huntington University will host the 2020 Bergdall Endowed Lectureship on Biblical Studies on Tuesday, March 31, at 7:00 p.m. in Zurcher Auditorium in the Merillat Centre for the Arts.
For the event, Huntington University is pleased to welcome speaker Dr. Craig Keener. Keener received his PhD from Duke University and is the F. M. and Ada Thompson Professor of the New Testament at Asbury Theological Seminary. He has authored 28 books, six of which have won awards in Christianity Today.
His recent books include

Keener is married to Médine Moussounga Keener, who holds a PhD from University of Paris. She was a refugee for 18 months in her nation of Congo. Together Craig and Médine work for ethnic reconciliation in the U.S. and Africa. Craig and Médine’s inspiring story is published in the book Impossible Love: The True Story of an African Civil War, Miracles, and Hope Against All Odds (2016).
